A website template is basically a premade web page, similar to other kinds of templates you may have come across (such as document templates in a word processor or a greeting card template).

 

The template includes a complete layout with graphics, but does not include any text.

How many pages come with a given template?

The number next to Included Layouts indicates how many different layouts come with the design. Some designs may include a layout for your site’s home page as well as a layout for site’s subpages, while others may include just one layout for all pages on your site.

If you purchase a HTML, XHTML/CSS, or Flash/HTML template, you can have an unlimited number of pages on your site. You can, for example, make several copies of a template’s subpage layout, one for each page on your site.
